Yes, ICF will have a Christmas Day service, 25 December, 12.30 in the Nieuwe Kerk! And you are so welcome to come and to invite friends, colleagues, neighbours – whoever you want. The theme of the Christmas Day Service is `tidings of comfort and joy’. Looking back at all that happened in an almost finished year – in the world, but also closer by – you may see many things that make you cry and feel sad. In this Christmas Day Service we ask the question how the birth of Jesus comforts and even brings great joy. The Bible passage will be Luke 2:1-20.

TREASURE SEAKERS

On Sunday 21st, the kids at Treasure Seekers learned that the birth of Jesus is the sign that God will rescue those who trust fully in him.  At the Christmas Day service, they will see that Jesus is indeed the promised king from God.

Title: The Perfect King
Text: Isaiah 9:1-7
Big Idea: Isaiah tells of a special baby whom God will send to restore his people.  He will be the best king ever and perfectly rule all God’s people forever.
Aim: To teach that Jesus is the wonderful king God promised to send to restore his people and rule the world forever.
