Have you ever thought of the necessity of becoming kind and growing in kindness? Upcoming Sunday we read a famous story, told by Jesus – about the good Samaritan. And we will learn more about the necessity of and the way to grow in kindness. You are so welcome to join this service!

Treasure Seekers

This Sunday the kids move on to the penultimate part of the gospel, Mark 8:31 to 14:11, following Peter’s declaration of Jesus as the Messiah.  At Treasure Seekers in the coming weeks the kids will explore the implications of this truth and considers the two ways in which people respond:1. True Discipleship of those who know Jesus as God’s king and want to follow him.
2. Rejection of those who cannot accept Jesus as king. Read more…Lesson Title: The King’s FollowersText: Mark 8:31 – 9:1Big Idea: Jesus explained to his disciples that as God’s promised king he would suffer and die and that his followers would have to do likewise.Lesson Aim: To teach that Jesus came to die for our sin and that we must be prepared to give our lives to follow him. Here is a video recounting what Jesus taught in the passage.
