How to grow in kindness
Many of us have things we want to grow in. For instance in knowledge, abilities and skills. Without these we might not be able to acquire the future we dreamed of. Have you ever thought of the necessity of becoming kind and growing in kindness? Upcoming Sunday we read a famous story, told by Jesus – about the good Samaritan. And we will learn more about the necessity of and the way to grow in kindness. You are so welcome to join this service!

Treasure Seekers
This Sunday the kids move on to the penultimate part of the gospel, Mark 8:31 to 14:11, following Peter’s declaration of Jesus as the Messiah. At Treasure Seekers in the coming weeks the kids will explore the implications of this truth and considers the two ways in which people respond:

Read more… Lesson Title: The King’s Followers Text: Mark 8:31 – 9:1 Big Idea: Jesus explained to his disciples that as God’s promised king he would suffer and die and that his followers would have to do likewise. Lesson Aim: To teach that Jesus came to die for our sin and that we must be prepared to give our lives to follow him. Here is a video recounting what Jesus taught in the passage. The kids’ song is “Jesus the King”.
