With Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Have you ever thought about the question what Jesus’ birthday has to do with your birthday? This Sunday the kids continue with the story of Jesus’s birth, through the record of Matthew’s gospel.

Lesson Title: The Coming King
Text            : Matthew 1:18-25
Big Idea    : An angel tells Joseph that Mary’s baby is God (the Son) and he comes to save. Joseph should not be afraid to adopt the baby as his own son.
Aim: To teach that Jesus is God who came to be with us and rescue us from our sins.
