How we follow Jesus in family and workplace – all age service
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is amazing good news. Though we deserved punishment, Jesus took the punishment for all who repent and believe. We don’t get what we deserved. And we receive what we didn’t deserve – God’s love and eternal life. Through faith, we are adopted in God’s family, loved and blessed. But how do we respond to that? How can we express our gratitude? Should we all strive to become missionaries and evangelists? What does it practically look like, to be a Christian? Upcoming Sunday, we read Ephesians 6:1-9. There we see that practical Christianity starts nearby. It becomes practical in family relationships and in the working place. In these simple relationships we can express our gratitude. But soon enough we also discover that we need even more grace. To follow Jesus is not always that easy. As the passage has a message for children as well, we invite the children to stay in the whole service. The sermon will be translated in Dutch and made a bit easier so that all may comprehend the message. You are so welcome to join and learn more!
