For many of us the summer break is near. We may be looking for some time of rest and recreation. Upcoming Sunday, we read on in Genesis. We will see how God had not forgotten Noah, nor his plan with creation. As God remembered Noah, Noah was eagerly waiting for the promised rest and recreation. We, by faith in Christ, united with him in his death, may also look – both – for the mortification of our old and sinful self, as well as for the renewing of our lives; in this life and also in the life to come.
