At the beginning of a new season you may feel overwhelmed. By your responsibilities, your targets. By things you want and things you lack. And so on… The Bible shows us a way out: we can survive and even thrive when we pray. But we don’t find it easy to pray, do we? Upcoming Sunday we look at the most famous prayer ever: the Lord’s prayer. And we learn from Jesus how and what to pray. You are very welcome to join this service!

Treasure Seekers – in person

God’s promise to Abraham, and Abraham trusting God by faith, are the kids’ next episode from Genesis!

During the ICF Delft service, children leave for their own Bible teaching at Treasure Seekers part-way through the service, after the kids’ song, and rejoin for the final song of the service.  The creche room is also available for 0-2 year olds.

For those not attending ICFD in person, we’ll continue to send materials by email (see below).

This Sunday, the kids’ Bible passage is Genesis 15:1-21.  The Big Idea is that despite Abraham’s doubts, God confirms his promise by cutting a covenant with Abraham.

Here is a video outlining the story.  The kids’ song is: “Father God, I Wonder How I Managed to Exist”. Here it is on youtube.

The memory verse for the Abraham series is Psalm 145:13b:

“The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.” [NIV]
