Empowering Grace – ALL AGE SERVICE
Always, when you go to a Bible-believing church, you will hear, again and again, the word `grace’. And you will hear `by grace we are saved’. But what does this mean? Upcoming Sunday we look at that. The children will stay in the service, so the preaching will be for them as well, for all ages. Though the message of grace on the one hand is not complicated and though a child can understand it, we will see that nowhere there are more misunderstandings, than around this point: what grace is all about. You are so welcome to join and invite others, including children. We will read Ephesians 2:1-10.
TREASURE SEEKERS
There are no Treasure Seekers groups this coming Sunday 9 June. Instead, the ICF Delft service is an all-age service. Children, teenagers and adults receive their Bible teaching together. Treasure Seekers groups resume as usual on 16 June.
An all-age service is not a children’s service. It is not intended for children (only) but for us all, and the service follows the normal pattern. At the same time, it is not exactly the same as a regular ICFD service, because we give attention to the children being with us. For example, there are more points of interaction, there are worksheets for the kids, and the sermon aims at a simpler level.
