When the church gets hacked

We all know how damaging it can be to get hacked. In II Peter 2 the apostle Peter shows how the church can get hacked spiritually. He shows how it works. And how we can be kept from it. And how terribly damaging it is. Upcoming Sunday we pay attention to a passage that everyone should come to know about! We invite you to come to church and to invite others to join you.

Treasure Seekers – in person

This week the kids look at “what happened next” after God made the world and declared it to be good.  Spoiler alert: sadly, it didn’t stay “good”!

During the ICF Delft service, children leave for their own Bible teaching at Treasure Seekers part-way through the service, after the kids’ song, and rejoin for the final song of the service.  The creche room is also available for 0-2 year olds. For those not attending ICFD in person, we’ll continue to send materials by email.

This week the kids’ Bible passage is Genesis 2:15 – 3:24.  The Big Idea is Satan encouraged Adam and Eve to disobey God’s word. This rebellion affected their relationship with God, one another and the rest of creation. Here is a video telling the story. The kids’ song is: “Our God is King Over All the World”

The memory verse is Romans 3:23:

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” [NIV]
