How was your spirit this past year?
This coming Sunday is the last Sunday of the church year. Pastor Frank van Veldhuizen would like to reflect on jealousy as an evil spirit and what kind of spirit we should have. He will be sharing a message from Judges 8:1–3.
Treasure Seekers
Last Sunday, the kids at Treasure Seekers saw God being with Joseph to bless him, even in difficult situations. This week the kids will see that God always keeps his promises, even if (like Joseph) we have to wait. Please can Explorers kids (8-11s) bring their bibles? Adventurers (12-14s) have their own group this Sunday.
Title: Puzzling but Plain
Text: Genesis 40:1 – 41:57
Big Idea: After a long time in prison, Joseph is put in charge of Egypt because he interpreted Pharaoh’s dreams. Many are saved from the famine the dreams warned about.
Aim: To teach that God always keeps his promises, but sometimes we need to wait patiently for him to do this at the right time and in his own way.
