It is wonderful to be with you again this Sunday! It is a Sunday when many come to church with grief and sorrow. My prayer is that you may be comforted and encouraged by the word of God, by the words of Jesus. I will preach on Acts 3:11-26, Peter’s second sermon. The theme is ‘The Heaven Must Receive Jesus’. The beauty of Peter’s sermons, shortly after Pentecost, is that they are always about Jesus. The Holy Spirit brings us to Jesus, so to say. I hope that through the words spoken this Sunday, we may come to the feet of Jesus and experience a moment of ‘refreshment’.
