Do you have a focus? Is there something you aim for? When Jesus came on earth, He had a clear focus. It was that the Kingdom of His Father would be established. Through His death and resurrection, a way of salvation was provided for us. Last Sunday we celebrated Pentecost. We saw that the outpouring of God’s Spirit was a fact in God’s salvation history. Now what is the focus of the Spirit at work on earth? Upcoming Sunday we will see that it is that the established kingdom will extend to all nations, to all the families of the earth. How? Through all believers!

This Sunday the children at ICFD finish their series in Acts, learning out the gospel launched out to the ends of the earth!

Lesson Title: To the Ends of the Earth
Text: Acts 14:8-22
Big Idea: As Paul and Barnabas take the good news about Jesus to the ends of the earth, they are treated badly, but they do not stop.
Teaching Aim: For the children to be sure that while many hate both the good news and those who explain it, they must not stop telling others.
