When I started my studies at Wageningen University, I chose to put a rainbow sticker on my bike. Why? Because at that time the rainbow sticker was in the Netherlands a common way to express that you are an evangelical Bible believing Christian. It seemed a good way to me to show that I was a Christian and that conversations about my faith were welcome. Times have changed. We see rainbow flags everywhere. But that does not necessarily mean that this country has become more Christian – I wished that were true.
