But why should anyone believe that what Bible says is true? We live in an age of science and reason. Doesn’t that contradict the Christian faith? And didn’t people 2000 years ago all to easily believe fairytales? Upcoming Sunday we read John 5:31-40. We will see that such modern questions receive a lot of attention within the Bible. And you are so welcome to learn more!
The last of Jesus’s parables the kids will study in the current series is that of the wedding banquet. Then from next week, the children will continue to learn from Jesus’s teaching in Matthew, from the sermon on the mount.
Lesson Title : The Wedding Banquet Text : Matthew 22:1–14 Big Idea : Surprisingly, God’s chosen people reject his invitation so the offer is opened to anyone, but only a few are willing to do what is needed for entry; repent and believe. Aim: To warn the children that accepting the invitation of King Jesus requires lifelong repentance.
