After an organ transplant, it is exciting whether the body will accept the organ or will fight against it until it dies. The body may desperately need the organ. Still, the immune system does not recognise that and fights against the needed organ. The same applies to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We desperately need it to be saved. However, it does not suit our own passions. Something in us, something in the church, rejects it and doesn’t bear with it. Upcoming Sunday we learn more about this important topic, as the preaching will be on 2 Timothy 4:1-5. You are so welcome to learn more!

Treasure Seekers

In addition to the usual Discoverers and Explorers groups, this Sunday has a pre-launch session of Adventurers.  Adventurers is for kids who will be in the first three years of secondary school from September.  God willing, Adventurers will start regularly from September.

This Sunday 6th:
– kids in school groups 0-4 (ages 3-7) are welcome at Discoverers
– kids in groups 5-7 (ages 7-11) are welcome at Explorers
– kids in groups 8-10 (ages 11-14) are welcome at Adventurers
The Discoverers room is also available for a self-supervised creche. Please can Explorers and Adventurers kids bring their bibles?

Big Idea: Satan encouraged Adam and Eve to disobey God’s word. This rebellion affected their relationship with God, one another and the rest of creation.
Aim: To teach how sin came into God’s world and the consequences of that event.
