Jesus once said that the kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field. A treasure is a precious mystery that requires to be discovered and unpacked. The message was meant for the Jews in the time of Jesus. They were challenged to discover and unpack Jesus’ message from what they knew from the laws and the prophets. It also applies to us today. How can we discover and unpack this precious kingdom in such a way that the mystery of God becomes real in our lives?
