Prosperity theology is a religious belief among some Christians, who hold that financial blessing and physical well-being are always the will of God for them, and that faith, positive speech, and donations to religious causes will increase one’s material wealth. Prosperity theology says: if humans have faith in God, he will deliver security and prosperity. Coming Sunday we will read Psalm 144. Is speaks about prospering sons and daughters, filled barns, increasing flocks etc. Is this an example of this kind of Gospel? To sing this song here in the Netherlands or in the slums of India, does it make a difference?
See you this Sunday at 12 hrs 15 in the Génestetchurch.
