A CITY OF REFUGE

Righteousness matters. A nation where crimes are not punished, will ultimately end up in chaos. A nation where everyone puts to shame and punishes what in his or her opinion is wrong, will also end up in chaos. Throughout the whole Bible we can trace God’s concern for righteousness. Upcoming Sunday we will see this in particular as we look at some laws in the book of Numbers. When the people of God arrived in the promised land, they had to appoint cities of refuge.
