Shame Defeated by Gospel Faith

Shame. We all know it. How it feels. When you are put to shame. When you realise that your behaviour was shameful and it is seen, by God, by other people, even by yourself. For a moment you wish you were not there. You feel you lose your face. You don’t want that. Shame is a strong power. The biggest reason why Christians, churches and Gospel ministers become unfaithful to the original Gospel and to the Bible is that they feel ashamed of what it says. Therefore they compromise, twist the message, leave things out and introduce other things. Shame explains all heresy. But there is a better way than to become unfaithful to the original Gospel. By faith we can defeat the shame. You can get rid of the shame. The thing you cannot avoid however is that you suffer somehow, somewhere for the Gospel. But you may proudly do that, without shame.
