The Course Finished with Confidence

For many the summer break is upcoming. Time to finish your courses, time to find some time for rest and relaxation. To finish courses however can be quite a stressful thing, especially if you lack the confidence that you will make it. Uncertainty is a strong power. Sometimes there are good reasons to be uncertain, sometimes such feelings are totally unfounded. In this sermon we read the apostle Paul’s testimony to Timothy wherein he tells him that he finishing the course of his earthly life with confidence – with the purpose that Timothy and all who hear this passage may become partakers of the same confidence.
