Day in, day out, we’re constantly making value judgments. We evaluate products and services: Is it a bargain? Is it overpriced? Can I get it cheaper somewhere else?
We do the same when it comes to the value we place on people.
That’s why it’s so important to tell each other how much we mean to one another—as husband and wife, as friends, brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers, sons and daughters.
