When people will not endure sound teaching

After an organ transplant, it is exciting whether the body will accept the organ or will fight against it until it dies. The body may desperately need the organ. Still, the immune system does not recognise that and fights against the needed organ. The same applies to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We desperately need it to be saved. However, it does not suit our own passions. Something in us, something in the church, rejects it and doesn’t bear with it.
