Celebration of baptism

This Sunday we look forward to a special service, because a brother and sister with their young son, and another sister, will be baptized after having confessed their faith. They all are from Iran and came in contact with the gospel of Jesus there. Because of threats and persecution they had to flee from their country. They are living examples of what Daniel and his friends experienced in that region about 2500 years before! Let us pray for these new brothers and sisters, and welcome them with great thankfulness for their faith and courage. We also pray for their country and its leaders.
