Wolves devour and lions kill. Cobra’s and adders are not to be trusted and bears are dangerous for men. In nature we see the innocent animals and the dangerous. And looking around, among mankind we also see that there are people who are dangerous and not to be trusted. People, whom you would not put together in the same house or at the same table.

Upcoming Sunday we read a most surprising passage from Isaiah. Isaiah prophesied that there would come a time when babies, wolves and lamb can dwell together safely. He had a preview of the new heavens and the new earth that God prepares. These would be the result of the coming of the Messiah. Is that all future? It isn’t. The Messiah has come. And those who truly believe in Him, die and rise with Him. They receive a new nature. Upcoming Sunday we will learn more about this. You are so welcome to join!
