The King’s Victory – Easter service

A victory matters. Once a medicine for a disease has been discovered that works perfectly, we may consider the disease as conquered. The invention of such a medicine means the victory over the disease. Jesus’ death and resurrection mean nothing less than that Jesus has brought salvation for the sins of his people. The greatest victory ever. Of course it is important then, to know whether the victory took really place. Matthew emphasises that it is well attested and undeniably true. Upcoming Sunday we celebrate this and hear more about what this means for us. You are so welcome to join the Easter service.

TREASURE SEEKERS

On Easter Sunday we celebrate that Jesus is risen!  At Treasure Seekers, the children will look at the true story from Matthew 27-28.  Please can Explorers kids bring their bibles?
Title: Long Live the King!
Text: Matthew 27:62 – 28:20Big Idea: Jesus was raised to life after three days, just as he had promised; his disciples followed and worshipped him, but others tried to hide what had happened.
Aim: To teach that the right response to knowing that Jesus has risen is to follow and worship him as God’s promised king and to bring others to know him too.
