If you come into a relationship, is it good to have expectations about the relationship? One might say: yes of course, I expect that we will share much time with each other. Another may say: you can better not have too great expectations, otherwise you may soon be disappointed. Is it wrong then to expect much from a relationship? Upcoming Sunday we will see how God, before his people entered the promised land, said what he expected from his people (you can read this in Numbers 28-29). This Sunday is the last lesson in the “Journey to the Promised Land” series; next up, the children will see what we learn about God once the Israelites enter the promised land, in the book of Joshua.
