If you come into a relationship, is it good to have expectations about the relationship? One might say: yes of course, I expect that we will share much time with each other. Another may say: you can better not have too great expectations, otherwise you may soon be disappointed. Is it wrong then to expect much from a relationship? Upcoming Sunday we will see how God, before his people entered the promised land, said what he expected from his people (you can read this in Numbers 28-29). Upcoming Sunday we will learn why he did that. You are so welcome to learn more!
This Sunday is the last lesson in the “Journey to the Promised Land” series; next up, the children will see what we learn about God once the Israelites enter the promised land, in the book of Joshua.
Big Idea : As God’s people enter the Promised Land, Moses warns them not to forget God’s goodness to them as that will lead to disobedience.
Teaching Aim : To understand that when we remember the Lord’s kindness and rescue it helps us to obey his good commands for our lives.
