Relating (better) with one another

Text: John 4:1–26

You and I live in a fragmented world, a world divided across different backgrounds, be they racial, religious, ethnic, or class. You probably have experienced hardship in relating to people who don’t look like you. Some of you have found yourself in conflict with people. And some have found themselves at peace with people from different cultural backgrounds but yet have no genuine relationship with them. It may not be surprising that you can be in a multicultural church like ICF and still miss the experiences of other cultural groups. It is easy to connect with people who look like you. Regardless of our fragmentation, we have hope because God’s word has something to teach us about relating to one another.

Greetings and blessings,

Lazarus Gatimu
